TIMBERDESIGN is currently in the process of incorporation. Until the company is registered, the natural person named above acts as the controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
2. Hosting and Server Logs
This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc. (512 2nd Street, Suite 200, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). By accessing the website, your browser automatically transmits data to Netlify for technical reasons, including your IP address, browser type, operating system, requested URL, and the date and time of access.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and uninterrupted operation of the website). Server logs are retained by Netlify for a maximum of 30 days and then automatically deleted.
Netlify is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (EU-U.S. DPF). For more information, please refer to Netlify's Privacy Policy.
3. External Resources
All resources required to display this website — including the fonts and the JavaScript library Three.js for the 3D visualization — are served together with the rest of the website via our hosting provider Netlify named in section 2. No content is loaded from additional third-party servers (e.g. separate content delivery networks). Beyond the processing described in section 2, your IP address is therefore not transmitted to any further third parties.
4. Pilot Access Form (Email Registration)
By submitting your email address via the form on this website, we process the following data:
- Email address
- Language preference (DE/EN)
- Time of submission
Purpose: To contact you and provide information about TIMBERDESIGN and the pilot access timeline.
Legal basis: Your explicit consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, granted by checking the checkbox and submitting the form.
Retention period: Your data will be stored until you withdraw your consent or until the pilot access program concludes, but no longer than 36 months after submission.
Recipients: Form data is processed and stored via Netlify Forms (see section 2). No further disclosure to third parties takes place.
Withdrawal: You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal. To do so, simply send an informal email to markus.janko@timberdesign.ai.
5. Your Rights
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access (Art. 15 GDPR): You may request information about whether and which personal data we process about you.
- Rectification (Art. 16 GDPR): You may request the correction of inaccurate or completion of incomplete data.
- Erasure (Art. 17 GDPR): You may request deletion of your data, provided no statutory retention obligations apply.
- Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR): Under certain conditions, you may request that we restrict the processing of your data.
- Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR): You may request that we provide your data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format.
- Objection (Art. 21 GDPR): You may object at any time to the processing of your data based on legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Withdrawal of consent (Art. 7(3) GDPR): You may withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future.
